Do you share your faith and if you do, what is it that motivates you to share your faith.  Although there are lots of examples in the Bible that we can look at, today we'll look at the all-time champ when it comes to personal evangelism...

 

Entrusted with the Gospel (10 of 20) We work from seven axioms

Yesterday, we began to talk about needing a strategy and today we continue that discussion by presenting seven axioms to keep in mind with regard to modern-day evangelism.

 

1. Always build on the past, without destroying or enshrining it. Matthew 5:43-45 
2. Do not fear new technologies but embrace them with the right motivation. 
3. We must get better at asking ourselves because we can do it, should we do it? 2 Sam 5:17-19 
4. We must utilize technology in a way that does not dehumanize those that we are trying to reach.  
5. We must embrace the audiences' perceived needs, without abandoning their real needs. Mark 10:17-22
6. We must always keep the main thing the main thing  Mark 8:36, Luke 19:10
7. We must always begin at the Judgement seat of Christ and work backwards.
