Yesterday we started our look at 30 lessons on Effective Leadership coming from the book of Nehemiah... Today we conclude our study of Nehemiah looking at the 15 remaining lessons... For your convenience, all 30 are listed below.
THIRTY LESSONS ON LEADERSHIP FROM NEHEMIAH
- Effective leaders have clean hands and pure hearts. (Nehemiah 1:4-7)
- Effective leaders have a sense of calling from God (Nehemiah 2:12).
- Effective leaders wait patiently for God's timing. (Nehemiah 1:1, 2:1)
- Effective leaders establish reasonable and attainable goals. (Nehemiah 2:3)
- Effective leaders make prayer a priority in their lives. (Nehemiah 2:4)

- Effective leaders don't hesitate to discipline inappropriate behaviour. (Nehemiah 5:6-8)
- Effective leaders have a great view of the value of their own work. (Nehemiah 6:1-3)
- Effective leaders display integrity before everyone. (Nehemiah 6:5-8)
- Effective leaders show discernment in dealing with people. (Nehemiah 6:12-13)
- Effective leaders attribute their success to God. (Nehemiah 6:15-16)
