JOHN (11 of 40): How can 5 plus 2 equal 5000?

Today as we turn to chapter six and we're looking at a kind of mathematical miracle... how can 5 + 2 equal 5000? 

Well, we really aren’t interested in adding five and two because obviously, they don’t add up to 5000, but we are interested in a story in which Jesus took five of one thing two of another and fed 5000 people.
